With a modular elevator, they arrive on a flatbed truck. Then they are ready to go after craning in place in a pre-poured pit. The pre-installed elevator components are produced in factory conditions. That means the rails, doors and entrances, wiring, hall calls and even the elevator cab is in the hoistway when it arrives.
