In our factory, the opposite is true we take pride in our work. And when MEM elevators they leave the factory they are a finished unit ready to be set. Each has passed a Ten Point inspection by a qualified technician before it is loaded on the truck. As a result we can say with confidence we produce a plumb and level hoistway every time. Also we install all of the components including the cab, the wiring, doors, hall calls and rails in the factory, ready for the start up process. Quality control inspections take place easily and we have true experts in the elevator industry checking everything out.
When the elevator arrives on site, it is ready to set. After that, it is ready for start up meaning it frees up more time and resources for other trades and keeps the elevator off the critical path that slows progress in the old-fashioned stick-built method.
