Vision is where business begins. Over 30 years ago, Tom had a vision to provide a high-quality vertical transportation solutions to the Southern California region. He understood the importance of mobility issues and the opportunities that greater access could create. As a result he founded TL Shield and Associates to provide vertical transportation solutions for the home and business.
He had seen in his experience in the construction trade and elevator industry that a new concept was needed to provide vertical transportation to everyone that was in need. The traditional elevator companies provided a slow cumbersome process and singular products that frustrated and limited options instead of solving problems.
So, a new way of providing solutions was born.
His concept was simple, treat everyone fairly, provide a wide variety of great forward looking products and consult with anyone that had a need truthfully. By offering so many solutions his company gained the reputation of assessing the needs and then providing what was needed. This is vastly different than the current model of most in the industry.
Under Tom’s leadership TL Shield has grown beyond just local projects and their MEM elevator system is now available nationwide. He has led his team to excellence in what they provide and how they accomplish success in every project.
